In a significant step towards advancing children's rights and educational research, the National Children's Rights Authority and Khatam University have signed a cooperation memorandum.
The signing ceremony was attended by key figures including Dr. Seyed Ali Kazemi, Vice President of Intellectual Property at the Ministry of Justice and Secretary of the National Children's Rights Authority, and Dr. Majid Ghasemi, President of Khatam University. The event took place on Monday, October 16. According to Khatam University's public relations and website, the memorandum aims to foster collaboration in scientific, educational, and research activities. Dr. Razavi, Director of Research Affairs at Khatam University, highlighted the importance of this agreement as a platform for developing innovative research initiatives. Dr. Kazemi emphasized the university's commitment to social responsibility and praised the history of collaboration between Khatam University's faculty and researchers in making strategic advancements. He underscored the importance of innovative approaches to managing children's rights and reducing social risks, expressing the Ministry of Justice's eagerness to work with academic institutions to develop effective solutions. Dr. Ghasemi reiterated Khatam University's readiness to address national issues, emphasizing the institution's role in nurturing top talent. He mentioned the university's efforts in recruiting scholarship students in computer engineering and theoretical economics, as well as its initiatives in data science and convergent technologies. The memorandum outlines several key areas of cooperation, including:
- Exchange of scientific and research information
- Implementation of joint research projects, authoring, and translation of books and articles
- Provision of scientific and research consultations
- Organization of exhibitions, conferences, scientific meetings, training courses, and specialized workshops
- Establishment of relations with domestic and international institutions, NGOs, and associations to organize conferences
- Conducting joint fundamental, applied, developmental, and strategic research projects
