TeIAS Institute Announces

Special Admission Conditions for Three Master’s Specializations in Economics

Published: Wednesday, September 2, 2026

TeIAS Institute has officially announced specific admission requirements for three Master’s specializations within the Economics program.

According to the Public Relations and Website Office of Khatam University, following the announcement of the Master’s Entrance Exam results, an information session was held on Monday, September 7, 2026, at the Khatam University Amphitheater. The session, which aimed to introduce the Master’s in Economics programs—specifically in “Theoretical Economics,” “Energy Economics,” and “Economic Development and Special Planning”—was attended by the CEO of TeIAS and faculty members from the institute’s Economics Department. The event was specifically tailored for candidates ranked 1st through 250th in the 2026 Economics Master’s Entrance Exam.

The session opened with Dr. Sepehr Ekbatani, a faculty member of the Economics Department at both TeIAS and Khatam University, who presented the significant achievements and successes of TeIAS faculty, students, and alumni in the field.

Following this, Dr. Mohammad Morovati, CEO of TeIAS, provided a brief overview of the institute’s history and highlighted the academic standing and influence of both TeIAS and Khatam University within both national and international scientific communities.

Subsequently, the faculty members of the TeIAS Economics Department introduced themselves and outlined their respective research interests. The session concluded with a detailed briefing on the benefits of studying these specializations, the specific incentives available to top-ranking candidates of the 2026 exam, admission criteria, financial and welfare support, and upcoming career opportunities.

Note on Eligibility:

According to the announcement, candidates ranked under 30 are automatically eligible for the specialized incentives provided for the Master’s in Economics programs. Candidates ranked between 30 and 250 must pass a scientific interview to qualify for these benefits.
