Introduction to the Architectural and Research Arts Department of the Faculty of Art and Architecture at Khatam University

The Art studies field at Khatam University was established in 2018 under the Art and Architecture Department, marking a significant step toward the development and promotion of research in various artistic fields. With a capacity of 20 students at the master’s degree and the involvement of experienced and specialized faculty, the field has been dedicated to training students passionate about art studies from the outset. The primary goal of this field is to strengthen the theoretical and practical foundations of art studies and to cultivate specialized professionals for academic, artistic critique, and cultural management roles.

In 2024, due to the outstanding educational and research achievements of the Art and Architecture Department, it was elevated to the Faculty of Art and Architecture. This promotion reflects the remarkable growth and development of the department in the fields of art and architecture, acknowledging the efforts of professors, students, and stakeholders in this domain. The Faculty of Art and Architecture continues its activities with three main departments, one of which is the Architectural and Research Arts Department, currently offering the Art Research field at the master’s level.
