Investigation and Evaluation of Environmental Materials of the 7th Development Plan Bill at Khatam University

The second quarterly conference of the Council of Scientific Associations of Iran titled "Investigation and Evaluation of Environmental Materials of the Seventh Development Plan Bill" will be held on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023 at Khatam University.

According to the website of Khatam University, the second quarterly conference of the Council of Scientific Associations of Iran titled "Investigation and Evaluation of Environmental Materials of the 7th Development Plan Bill" will be held at Khatam University with the presence od several experts.

This conference includes two meetings focusing on "water and natural environment" and "environmental exploitation and development".

According to this report, in the first meeting, there will be discussion and exchange of opinions on 3 topics:

1. Environment in the country's five-year development plans;
2. Development planning in water shortage conditions;
3. Protection of biodiversity and its place in the seventh development plan.

In the second meeting, the following 3 topics will be discussed:

1. Environment is an integral part of development plans;
2. The position of environmental assessment and valuation in the seventh development plan: dos and don'ts;
3. The position of the 7th plan as an upstream environmental document.
