Charter of Social Responsibility of Khatam University

 

Khatam University believes that an organization that adheres to its social responsibilities, necessarily does what is right, avoids arbitrary and improper decisions, and by benefiting from creativity and innovation, and rejecting outdated methods, it will promise the progress and excellence of itself and the society. The social responsibility charter of Khatam University as an entrepreneurial and leading university in the field of science and technology is based on the following axes:

 

A) Educational responsibilities

• Supporting the scientific and technological organizations of students;

• Emphasis on creative learning and development of scientific thinking and applications;

• Creating a safe, lively and hopeful environment for students;

• Adherence to maintaining personal health and hygiene of faculty members, students and staff;

• Commitment to maintaining the basics of professional ethics and institutionalizing it in faculty members, students and staff;

• Supporting the development of cultural and social activities to strengthen Iranian-Islamic culture in society.

 

B) Management and organizational responsibilities

• Commitment to establishing a green information technology management system;

• Commitment to ethical leadership and management as a top university;

• Providing fair study opportunities for researchers and commitment to providing infrastructure, equipment, and other suitable facilities for research and scientific and applied research;

• Accountability for cost management, resources and expenses to contribute to a sustainable environment.

 

C) Cognitive responsibilities

• Commitment to deepening knowledge of science-based social management;

• Attention to the alignment of cognitive sciences, engineering sciences, economics, etc.;

• Adhering to the establishment of an educational and research system based on wisdom and knowledge;

• Emphasis on comprehensive, deep-thinking, and forward-looking thinking in students and faculty members.

 

D) Social responsibilities

• Development of responsible citizenship values;

• attention to the growth and development of social capital;

• commitment to social participation and committed to the principles of sustainable development;

• Commitment to promote and publish social law-abiding awareness;

• Adhering to the alignment of the fundamental goals of the university and society in order to improve the quality of life.
