The Faculty Members of the Second National Conference on Digital Transformation Meet at Khatam University

The coordination meeting with the faculty members of the second National Conference on Digital Transformation was held at Khatam University with the aim of revising the goals of the conference.

According to the reporter of Khatam University’s website, Azar Saemian, the head of the Policy-making Council of the Management Journal of the Iranian Management Association and the scientific secretary of the second National Conference on Digital Transformation (with an architecture and ecosystem approach) in a speech at this meeting, on Monday, May 11^th, referred to the first round of this conference which had happened last year and said: "Considering the importance and necessity of the issue of digital transformation in leading organizations and in order to deepen the knowledge and skills of managers, experts and scholars in the field of new technologies, the Iranian Management Association, in cooperation with Khatam University, has organized the second National Conference on Digital Transformation on July 13th."

Saemian also added: "We have discussed with the presidents of universities across the country, the deans of their Computer Departments, and the ministries and agencies whose areas are related to the topic of this conference."

Emphasizing on the nature of the National Conference on Digital Transformation which is special and different from other similar conferences, Saemian announced that the goal is to benefit from knowledge-based companies and start-ups to provide services to the conference participants.

The scientific secretary of the National Conference on Digital Transformation added: "The Management Association will publish the articles presented in the conference in the special issue of the Management Journal after approval."

She also announced the awarding of prizes to the authors of the best articles sent to the secretariat of the second National Conference on Digital Transformation.

According to Saemian, the deadline for sending articles to this conference is on June 10^th and the deadline for registration is on July 1^st, 2023.

Saemian continued her speech by appreciating  Dr. Majid Ghasemi, the president of Khatam University and the chairman of the Policy-making Council of the conference for his valuable supports.

In this meeting, all the professors and faculty members of the conference presented their opinions and made suggestions by emphasizing on the scientific and practical nature of the lectures. Further to that, it was decided to benefit the knowledge ans skills of experts in the other workshops and specialized panels.
