Published: Thursday, October 8, 2026
The details of the Dual Study Program for undergraduate Computer Engineering and Industrial Engineering at Khatam University—offered in partnership with Dotin—have been officially announced.
According to the Public Relations and Website Office of Khatam University, the informational session was held on Wednesday evening, October 7, in the university amphitheater. Attended by faculty members from both departments, senior executives from Dotin, and the Nationwide University Entrance Exam (NUEE) candidates participating both in person and online, the event outlined the program’s key benefits and addressed prospective students’ questions.
Under this joint initiative, Khatam University and Dotin are admitting top-ranking applicants from the NUEE 2026. Eligible Mathematics and Physics track candidates who wish to pursue these engineering degrees while gaining hands-on industry experience at Dotin can add these Khatam University programs to their NUEE choice-of-study list.
Eligibility & Benefits
Admitted candidates ranking below 5,000 nationally and below 3,000 by regional quota will receive the following benefits alongside university academic training and specialized professional coaching at Dotin:
- Monthly Salary compliant with national labor law

- Dormitory Housing for students from outside Tehran
- Full Tuition Fee Waiver
Program Highlights from University & Industry Leadership
During the session, Dr. Ehsan Akhtarkavan, a faculty member of the Computer Engineering Department at Khatam University, introduced the department, noting that Computer Engineering was the university’s first bachelor’s degree offering.
Addressing curriculum updates, Dr. Akhtarkavan stated:
“Students enrolled in this program can choose two specialized academic clusters based on their career interests, directly aligning their coursework with their post-graduation goals.”
He emphasized the university’s strong industry ties with tech leaders like Fanap and Dotin:
“To ensure graduates are truly workforce-ready, we partnered with industry leaders. Now in our fifth consecutive year of collaboration with Dotin, students who select our undergraduate Computer Engineering program are eligible for this dual study program. The greatest advantage for students is direct mentorship and regular collaboration with experienced developers from Fanap and Dotin.”
Hooman Mesgary, Vice President of Partnerships and Investments at Dotin, highlighted the workforce readiness goals:
“Our goal with this scholarship is for graduates to step directly into full-time roles without needing remedial training or trial periods. We integrate essential industry skills straight into their undergraduate education.”
Mesgary outlined the program’s practical advantages:
- Market-driven programming and software engineering training led by industry professionals
- Soft skills development and career readiness workshops
- Fast-track employment and internship opportunities within Fanap Holding subsidiaries upon graduation
- Dedicated career advisory and mentorship from company specialists
- Collaborative study spaces, tutoring, and academic support
- Organized company visits to explore real-world workflows
- Sponsorship and support for participating in competitions and tech events
Mesgary added:
“Unlike many government or institutional scholarships in the NUEE catalog, this scholarship does not impose a mandatory return-of-service agreement. Graduates remain free agents, though they are strongly positioned for immediate employment at Dotin and across Fanap Holding companies.”
Mahdieh Noroozian, Vice President of Planning and Development at Dotin—which was established in 2011 and currently employs 2,000 professionals—added:
“Scholarship recipients receive their monthly stipend and full tuition exemption starting from their very first month. To maintain these privileges, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 17 out of 20.”
Dr. Delaram Choghazardi, a faculty member of Industrial Engineering at Khatam University, offered a perspective on the discipline:
“The foundation of Industrial Engineering is systems thinking—where properly framing a problem is itself a crucial problem-solving skill. Developing this analytical mindset is essential. In today’s AI era, Industrial Engineering and Computer Engineering remain front-runners, consistently commanding the highest starting compensation packages among university graduates.”
The session—which was streamed live via Skyroom, Instagram, and Aparat—concluded with university and company representatives answering questions from prospective applicants regarding application criteria and program details.
