Financial Support for Innovative, Technological, and Entrepreneurial Research Projects

According to the Public Relations and Website Office of Khatam University, the University’s Research Affairs Office has announced the availability of financial support for eligible research projects as part of efforts to expand research-driven activities, support innovative and technology-oriented ideas, and strengthen the connection between research, innovation, and commercialization. This initiative has been established through a joint agreement and collaboration between the University’s Office of Innovation and Technology Development and the Research Affairs Department.

According to the announcement, research projects and ideas proposed by faculty members that have an innovative, technology-oriented, and entrepreneurial approach, and that have the potential to contribute to the development of products or services, the development and commercialization of research outcomes, the creation of new businesses, and the enhancement of employability, will be eligible for review and financial support after completing the relevant process.

After the required documentation has been completed and the initial stages have been undertaken, the proposed projects will be reviewed and evaluated by a joint committee comprising representatives of the University’s Research Affairs Office and the Office of Innovation and Technology Development. If approved, the projects will receive the relevant financial support in accordance with the applicable regulations and available funding capacities.

In its announcement, the Khatam University Research Affairs Office has invited faculty members who have eligible research ideas or projects and are interested in making use of this opportunity to contact the office for guidance, completion of the relevant forms, and information about the process for submitting and evaluating their projects.

The office aims that, by leveraging the academic expertise and capabilities of faculty members and expanding collaboration between research and innovation and technology, it will be possible to further create an environment in which research ideas and outcomes can be transformed into knowledge-based products and services, innovative businesses can be established, and greater economic and social value can be created.
