Knowledge-Enhancement Workshop on the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Academic Research to be Held

According to the Public Relations and Website Office of Khatam University, today, the use of artificial intelligence in research is not limited to text generation or information retrieval; it can play a significant role in various parts of the research process, from analyzing and evaluating sources to designing and advancing research. Familiarity with these capacities helps researchers utilize artificial intelligence tools tailored to their specific professional needs and derive greater benefit from the capabilities of this technology in their scientific activities.

In line with the research empowerment program for esteemed faculty members, the Center for Specialized Training and Skill Enhancement at Khatam University, in collaboration with the Research Affairs Office, has taken action to hold this specialized course on the application of artificial intelligence in academic research, exclusive to Khatam University faculty members.

This workshop will be taught by Dr. Ataei, who holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of British Columbia and is the creator of a pioneering artificial intelligence algorithm purchased by Meta. The workshop will be held in four three-hour online sessions on September 5, 9, 12, and 16, 2026, from 8:30 to 11:30 AM.
