Nowruz meeting of the President of Khatam University with university colleagues was held

According to the report of Khatam University’s public relations and website department, the Nowruz meeting of Khatam University's presidency with faculty members and university colleagues was held on April 7, 2025, at the Khatam University amphitheater.

At the beginning of this meeting, which was held in the form of a sincere conversation with the aim of brainstorming to improve the performance of various university units in the new year, Dr. Majid Ghasemi, President of Khatam University, took the coincidence of this year's Nowruz with the holy month of Ramadan as a good sign and expressed his hope that this Persian new year will be a year full of spiritual richness for all Iranian people.

“Trust has three components: first, to trust in God; second, to be content with God's will; and third, to submit to God's plan.” He further emphasized the importance of trust, saying, “I hope that my colleagues at Khatam University will begin the new year by practicing these three components of trust and by experiencing profound spiritual transformations in our behavior, actions, and every aspect of our lives. When we reflect on our performance at the end of the year, we will be able to say that we have taken meaningful steps to address both our challenges and those of our society.”

The president of Khatam University stated that a good year should not simply be waited for but must be created. “I believe that last year was a good year for Khatam University, despite all the issues and challenges we faced. We made an effort to continue on our path diligently. After 1.5 years of dedicated work on compiling the university's strategic plan, we presented it. While the plan predicted a 15 percent growth, we achieved a remarkable 37 percent growth—more than twice the previous plan. Additionally, we continued the project to construct and complete the Khatam University campus with great determination. This process is ongoing, and, God willing, by 2026, all 450 thousand square meters of university space will be operational and ready for use. It is essential for all departments and units within the university to prioritize the serious implementation of the university's strategic plan while pursuing their newly assigned tasks,” he stated. 

At the same time, Dr. Ghasemi, highlighting the remarkable abilities of Iranian youth both within the country and abroad, emphasized the importance of harnessing these talents across various fields. He concluded: “As in the past, we at Khatam University have embraced the knowledge and capabilities of scientific elites in diverse areas, and we will continue our efforts with determination.” 

During the meeting, several attendees shared insights, raised issues, and proposed solutions aimed at enhancing the university's educational and research processes. The gathering concluded with a commemorative photo.
