The Display of the New Library Software of Khatam University

Khatam University's library unit displayed its new smart management software of electronic and digital library named "Arian".
According to the website of Khatam University, "Arian" library software was selected and purchased after the reviews conducted by Shahrazad Fardakbari, the director of Khatam University's library and Melika Khorramshokouh, the librarian of the library and through coordinations with the directors of Khatam University.
Arian electronic and digital library management software is the only software available in the country that provides all integrated library systems (ILS) services. This software has been designed and presented in order to provide better services in the fields of organizing, storing and retrieving standard and efficient information, documents cycle, static and dynamic reports, and managing all types of users.
Arian is popular among the users of Khatam University's library by adopting knowledge management standards with facilities such as case-orientation, the ability to cover the management of all types of documents, compatibility with all types of libraries, suitable user interface and online communication and the use of a powerful search engine with high search speed.
It should be noted that Aryan uses the world's latest software technologies and covers all standards in the field of information management. Additionally, this software has been designed and implemented according to library standards and the demands of Iranian libraries and is currently being used in more than 70 organizations. Due to Arian being on the web, users can also access the library portal from outside the university to learn about the library's resources.
