The Need to Reduce Water Consumption by %25

Following the instruction given by the Water and Sewerage Company of Tehran province regarding the need to reduce water consumption by %25, Khatam University, in line with its social responsibility, puts consumption management and proper information in this field on its agenda.

According to the website of Khatam University, due to the significant decrease in rainfall and consecutive and continuous droughts, the water supply sources of Tehran province are not in a good condition and overcoming the existing conditions requires the cooperation and participation of all subscribers.

The General Department of Crisis Management of Tehran Governorate has emphasized the need to reduce its water consumption by 25% compared to 1401 (2022) and submit a written report to the Governorate by the Water and Sewerage Company of Tehran province. In this notification, it is stated: "The Water and Sewerage Company of Tehran province shall take actions to cut off the relevant branch in case of non-compliance with consumption reduction."

In this regard, with the aim of fulfilling its social responsibility and saving water consumption, Khatam University requests all relevant units, employees of various departments and faculty members to use consumption management solutions and provide appropriate information to colleagues and subordinate units in this regard in order to reduce their water consumption by at least 25% compared to the last year.
