A Word from the President

In the Name of God, the Merciful, and the Compassionate

Displayed from the garden border hath become the diadem of the Sultan, the rose

O Lord! To the cypress and the jessamine, its arrival happy be!

In his own place, happy was this imperial sitting

Since now in his own place, everyone sitteth 

To Sulaiman’s seal-ring [KHATAM], news of the happy conclusion gives,

Whereby, short the hand of Ahriman, the ism-i-a’zam made 

Be prosperous to eternity without end, this house, from the door of which,

Every moment, with the perfume of mercy, the breeze of felicity bloweth! (Translated by H. Wilberforce-Clarke) 

Blessed with the name of KHATAM-un-Nabiyeen, SEAL of the Prophets, Khatam University is a distinguished center of excellence where a harmonious combination of knowledge and culture can be seen; a place in which a consciousness of one’s dignity and status is promoted and a strong will to gain knowledge and wisdom is cultivated.

Khatam University is a center of research, teaching, and excellence whose mission is to promote knowledge and culture in the society; it has so far taken many great steps forward in achieving its goal, but there are still many more to come; the university aspires to enroll itself among third and fourth-generation universities.

Khatam University is yet to go a long way to be among the global pioneers in higher education. However, by the grace of the Almighty God, by the compassionate support of those in charge of higher education in Iran, and by using the whole potentials of the elites in the country, it will move toward the highest level of success in the world of education at an ever-increasing speed with a strong and unbreakable will.
