Capacitive Sensors for Portable Devices
Capacitive sensors have found a wide range of applications in portable devices including smart phones, tablets, laptops, and more recently wearable devices. In this talk I will discuss their capabilities, limitations, and technical details of implementing such sensors for real life applications. The first portion of the talk will be leaning toward the general understanding of capacitive sensors, while the second half will delve into more details for modeling and implementation aspects of these versatile and powerful devices.
